This is definitely true. Search Engine Optimization is a formula that must be followed. There are strategic requirements that Google has when it comes to giving web pages authority and credibility. As a webmaster, you must adhere to these requirements if you want to obtain a high ranking in organic search results.
Most companies who claim that they have “all the secrets” to SEO, and will “guarantee” your spot on the first page within a short period of time, likely cannot be trusted. SEO is a formula, and if you know the right steps to take, you will rank well - eventually! But you cannot “guarantee” that within 30 days let’s say, you’ll be on the first page. There is a lot of research and analysis that must go into SEO. The time frame for getting onto the first page of Google will depend on how competitive your industry is online, and most importantly how competitive your particular keyword phrases are.
Any website can be optimized. Some may take longer than others, and may require more of a time and even money investment, but it is definitely attainable no matter how competitive the industry. It is important to have the right company behind you. Do your own research and understand the elements of Search Engine Optimization, so that you can properly evaluate the company you wish to hire and make sure that they are the perfect fit for your goals and objectives.
